Platte County With First Positive Case Of COVID-19

COLUMBUS- East-Central District Health Department has just received confirmation of the first positive case of COVID-19 in Platte County.

Early details indicate that the source of the exposure was likely a visiting relative from Omaha. The ECDHD says contact tracing is ongoing.

Nebraskans are urged to continue social distancing; good health practices, including staying home when sick and; regular hand washing with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds.
