Nebraska middle blocker Kaitlyn Hord is getting settled into Lincoln after transferring from Penn State. After playing four years at Penn State, Hord said Wednesday on KJSK’s Sports Nightly “it’s been a big change, but in a good way.”
Hord says “it’s been awesome” getting to know the Husker players from a different perspective, saying they’re no longer enemies anymore. She says they’ve been weightlifting every morning except for Wednesdays, which are yoga days, followed by open gym in the afternoons.
As far as the hot yoga sessions on Wednesdays, Hord said coach John Cook took part in one, calling it “pretty awesome.”
