OWA Lakeview Junior Reds Win League Tourney Opener

The Owens Wealth Advisors Lakeview Junior Reds doubled up Oakland-Craig 16-8 in Saturday’s first round of the Ralph Bishop League junior tournament.
Parker Osten had five RBI and Caleb Sloup had four hits, two RBI and scored three runs for the Junior Reds at Pawnee Park’s Legion Field. The victory improved the Junior Reds’ record to 7-5.
They’ll play at West Point tonight at 8 p.m.
Also on Saturday, the Wisner-Pilger/Howells Dodge juniors bowed to Pender 17-2.
