NU’s Baete, CU’s Lemke Tee Off in NCAA Regionals

In women’s golf, Nebraska’s Kirsten Baete shot a 75 yesterday in the opening round of the Stanford Regional. 

The fifth-year senior from Beatrice was tied for 38th place following her 4-over par round. 

Meanwhile, Creighton freshman Katherine Lemke carded an 84 in the first round of the regional in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  The first postseason qualifier in CU women’s golf history was in 66th place after 18 of 54 holes in the event.
