NU Hosts UNO Tonight; Anderson, Olson Win Weekly Awards

Nebraska’s baseball team will host Omaha tonight.
It’s the second meeting between the Huskers and Mavericks this season. The Mavs won the first 10-6 on March 14th in Lincoln.
Tonight’s first pitch is slated for just after 6 p.m. The pregame starts at 5:30 on News Talk 900 KJSK.
NU’s Max Anderson was named Big Ten Player of the Week and pitcher Emmett Olson earned the conference’s pitcher of the week honor yesterday. Anderson hit .389 with three home runs and seven RBI as the Huskers went 3-1 last week. Olson worked a career-high 7.2 innings, allowing one run on two hits in a 3-1 win at Michigan.
