NU Baseball to Play in Regional Hosted by Top Seed Arkansas

Nebraska’s baseball team is headed to what’s the toughest regional on paper. The Huskers were selected yesterday as the number 2 seed at the Fayetteville Regional. Host Arkansas is the number 1 national seed for the NCAA tournament.
The 64-team tourney opens Friday in 16 regionals. The Huskers will play Northeastern at 7 p.m. It will be the first-ever meeting between NU and the Huskies. It also marks Nebraska’s 17th NCAA tournament appearance and its first under coach Will Bolt.
