Northeast Nebraska Motorsports Hall of Fame Banquet is Oct 14

The newly-established Northeast Nebraska Motorsports Hall of Fame will induct its first two classes next month.
The group’s inaugural Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony is set for Saturday, October 14th at Norfolk’s VFW Hall. Tickets are almost sold out.
The 2022 class will be Gerald Bruggeman (Hoskins), Don Weyhrich (Norfolk), Kim Lingenfelter (Norfolk), and Robert and Janet Haase (Norfolk). Also, the Robert and Janet Haase Impact on Motorsports Award for 2022 will go to Abe Lincoln and Sam Ganskow (Columbus).
The 2023 class consists of Gerry Suhr (Norfolk), Gene Brudigan (Hoskins), Ray Haase (Norfolk) and Tom Niemeyer (Albion). The 2023 Impact on Motorsports Award will go to Dale Kesting (Norfolk).
