North Platte’s Genatone Joins Huskers From Montana

The Nebraska football team’s defense has added a player for next season. 

Vince Genatone, a North Platte native who spent his first two college seasons at Montana, announced his commitment to NU Tuesday on social media. 

Genatone had 136 tackles as a senior at North Platte High, earning the Omaha World-Herald’s 2022 male athlete of the year.  He redshirted his first year at Montana and played on the Grizzlies’ special teams last season.
