No Shootout Needed, Just OT for Scotus Boys Soccer

The Scotus boys soccer squad did not need a shootout to win for the first time in its past five matches.

Overtime was enough Friday for the Shamrocks to get past Kearney Catholic 3-2 at Wilderness Park.  The ‘Rocks led 2-0 at the half, but the Stars rallied with two second half goals to tie it at 2-all after regulation.  Scotus scored in the second overtime to claim its fifth straight win and move to 6-3.

The Shamrocks girls romped over Kearney Catholic 8-0.  Tanner Schultz scored four goals for Scotus, which also upped its record to 6-3.
