No. 6 Seeds Keep Rolling in Two Senior Legion Area Tourneys

There were some upsets in Senior Legion area tournaments Monday. 

No. 6 seed Central City eliminated No. 1 seed Sutton with a 7-2 win.  Central City needs to defeat 4-0 York twice today at home  to earn the B5 area title.  In that same tourney, Twin River’s season ended Monday in a 13-5 loss to York. 

Another No. 6 seed, Wisner-Pilger/Howells-Dodge is 3-1 after edging Crofton 8-7 and needs two wins today over C1 top seed and host Hartington. 

SOS was ousted from the C5 tournament after losing to host Wilber 5-1.  PWG blanked Gordon-Rushville 8-0 and is seeking two victories over Imperial today in the C7 championship in Valentine.
