Millard North Star Picks Zags Over Jays, Others

As Creighton prepares to face top-ranked Gonzaga Sunday in the Sweet 16, the Bluejays lost a recruiting battle with the Bulldogs today. 

Millard North star guard Hunter Sallis announced his commitment to Gonzaga this morning.  The five-star prospect is ranked 13th in ESPN’s 100 for 2021. 

As a senior last season, Sallis helped the Mustangs win the Class A state championship.  On the season, he averaged 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.

Creighton was reportedly one of seven other men’s basketball programs that made Sallis’ final list of schools.
