Nebraska interim football coach Mickey Joseph says quarterback Casey Thompson is tough.
Thompson met with Joseph yesterday after being pulled on two occasions from Saturday’s win over Indiana, but only for one play each time. “He’s always hard on me and I’m hard on myself,” Thompson said. “But I told him I don’t want to be out of the game if I’m healthy enough to be in the game.”
The Huskers visit Rutgers this Friday night. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. The pregame starts at 2 p.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK. It will be joined at 5:30 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
