Martinez: Work on Option Plays Paying Off for Huskers

As Nebraska’s football team prepares to host ninth-ranked Michigan Saturday night, quarterback Adrian Martinez met with the media following yesterday’s practice.
Martinez was asked yesterday about the emergence of NU’s option plays. “It’s something we’ve been actively practicing,” Martinez said. “It’s one of those concepts that you just need reps and reps. We do it every day at practice and we continue to work on it. You see some of that chemistry paying off.”
Saturday’s kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. The pregame begins at 2:30 on News Talk 900 KJSK. It will be joined at 6 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
