Martinez Named to Unitas Award Watch List

Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez was named yesterday to the Johnny Unitas Award watch list.
The Huskers’ three-year starter was named to that watch list for the second straight season. He’ll look to become NU’s second Unitas Award winner, joining 1995 honoree Tommie Frazier.
Martinez completed 71.5 percent of his passes for 1,055 yards and four touchdowns last season. He also led the Huskers with 521 rushing yards and seven scores.
