Markowski Helps NU Women to Exhibition Victory

Alexis Markowski led four Huskers in double figures to help the Nebraska women’s basketball team to an 87-42 exhibition victory over Midland.
Markowski finished with 15 points and nine rebounds. The true freshman out of Lincoln Pius X and the 2021 Nebraska high school player of the year scored 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting in nine first-half minutes.
NU opens its regular season next Tuesday by hosting Maine at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
