Mahoney, Jefferson Return to CU For Senior Seasons

Creighton basketball received some good news over the weekend.  Denzel Mahoney and Damien Jefferson both announced they were withdrawing from the NBA Draft and returning for their senior seasons. 

Mahoney averaged 12 points and 3.1 rebounds per game for CU last season, after gaining eligibility on December 17th.  He took home the Big East’s Sixth Man Award. 

Jefferson averaged 9.4 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest.
