Lubick: Huskers Need to Fix Mistakes, Not Dwell on Them

As the Huskers prepare to host Fordham in football this Saturday, Nebraska offensive coordinator Matt Lubick said the NU coaches and players need to have the mindset to fix the mistakes made at Illinois, but not dwell on them.

Lubick says Nebraska needs to run the ball “downhill” better and to do that all players need to win their one-on-one battles.  He was asked if he expects the Rams defense to “throw the kitchen sink” at the Huskers.  “Again, we don’t know what to expect.  It’s the first game for them,” Lubick said.  “They did a good job in the spring.  They’re a good defense.”

Kickoff on Saturday is set for 11 a.m.  The pre-game begins at 7 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 10:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
