Lakeview’s American Legion Teams Bow at Battle Creek

The Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors had their three-game winning streak snapped in a 4-1 loss at Battle Creek last night.
Battle Creek starter Will Hamer allowed one run on three hits and four walks over 6.1 innings, and had 11 strikeouts. Bank of the Valley will host Oakland-Craig tomorrow night.
In last night’s early game, the Owens Wealth Advisors Lakeview Junior Reds were shaded 5-4. Dominic Rother and Aaron Jessen had two RBI apiece for Lakeview. The Junior Reds are 3-3 heading into their game tonight at Schuyler.
