Lakeview Seniors’ Season Ends in Loss to Norris Hickman

Lakeview’s postseason run ended last night with a 12-6 loss to Norris Hickman in the Class B American Legion Senior state tournament. 

Bank of the Valley scored four runs in the top of the fifth inning to pull within a run at 7-6.  However, Hickman essentially iced the contest when it answered with a 5-spot in the bottom of the fifth. 

Lakeview finished the summer with an 18-4 record, including a 3-0 mark in the area tournament before going 2-2 at the state tourney in Crete.
