Lakeview Junior Reds End Season Falling to Albion

The baseball season ended last night for the Owens Wealth Advisors Lakeview Junior Reds.
The Reds were downed by host and number-1 seed Albion 12-9 in the semifinals of the B5 Junior Area Tournament. Lakeview’s Juniors went 2-2 in the tourney and finished the season with a 13-10 record.
Albion improved to 3-0 in the tournament and will host 3-1 Pierce in the championship today at 5 p.m. Number-2 seed Pierce needs to win twice this evening to win the area title.
