Kitt Tops Field at Seward Invite; Lasso Third in Kearney

Lakeview golfer Hannah Kitt won the gold medal at the Seward Invitational last Friday. 

Kitt carded a 47 on the front nine, but fired a 36 on the back nine at the Seward Country Club.  The Vikings senior’s total of 83 was good for first place by one stroke.  As a team, Lakeview posted a score of 398, finishing sixth out of 11 squads. 

Also on Friday, Columbus High’s Sarah Lasso shot a 74 and placed third in the Kearney Invite at Meadowlark Hills.  The Discoverers shot a team score of 393 to finish ninth out of 13 teams.
