Joseph Says Henrich Out For Year, Wants Fans to Be Loud

Nebraska interim football coach Mickey Joseph told reporters yesterday the Huskers used the bye week to get a little healthier.  But he also had some bad news on the injury front, announcing that linebacker Nick Henrich is out for the season after suffering a knee injury at Purdue. 

Joseph talked about No. 17 Illinois, which is coming to Lincoln on Saturday.  “They have a really physical rushing game,” Joseph said.  He also noted the Fighting Illini are tough on defense.  “This  week, we’re going to needs our fans on this one…we’re going to need our fans to be loud,” Joseph concluded.  

Saturday’s kickoff is at 2:30 p.m.  The pregame starts at 10:30 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 2 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
