Joseph on New Coaches; ASU DB Transfers to NU

Mickey Joseph, Nebraska’s new wide receivers coach and passing coordinator, says the Huskers are a well-coached team.  In an interview on Monday’s Sports Nightly aired on News Talk 900 KJSK, the former NU quarterback said head coach Scott Frost has the team going in the right direction.

“We’re here to help him get over the hump,” Joseph said. “He’s given us full reign to do things the way we see it.”

On recruiting, Joseph said he thinks Nebraska’s brand “is still there.”  Joseph said the Huskers “just need to get to a winning record, and I truly believe in my heart that we can.”

Nebraska football has added a young transfer from Arizona State who was recently a four-star prospect in high school.  Defensive back Tommi Hill was a true freshman for the Sun Devils last season.  He played in seven games after signing with ASU out of Orlando, Florida.
