Jays’ NCAA Tourney Run Ends With One-Point Loss

Creighton’s players and coach Greg McDermott blamed themselves, and not the officials, after their 57-56 loss to San Diego State yesterday in the South Regional final.
Ryan Nembhard was whistled for a foul with the score tied and 1.2 seconds left, and Darrion Trammell made one of two free throws for the Aztecs.
The loss in the Elite Eight ended the Bluejays season with a 24-13 record.
