Jays Center Fielder Gillen Earns Player of Week Honor

Creighton center fielder Tate Gillen was named Big East Player of the Week last night.
Gillen led the Bluejays to a pair of wins at Coppin State last weekend, including a 24-0 romp in their season opener. The Jays rallied for a 9-6 victory in the second game.
Gillen was 5-for-7 at the plate in the series, with five RBI, four runs and two stolen bases.
