Huskers to Host Mavs in Women’s Basketball Opener

The Nebraska women’s basketball team will open its regular season in November against Omaha.
The Huskers welcome the Mavericks to Pinnacle Bank Arena on Monday, November 7th. The game is expected to tip off at noon following the Life Skills Sportsmanship Pep Rally. Last season, the pep rally involved more than 1,500 middle-grades students from nearly 30 school districts in Nebraska.
The contest will mark the first regular-season meeting between NU and UNO since a 66-58 Husker victory at PBA in November of 2016.
