Huskers Give Hoiberg His First Win Over a Ranked Foe

Nebraska upset number 23 Ohio State 78-70 on the road last night.
Bryce McGowens scored 26 points and Alonzo Verge Jr. had 13 points and 11 assists. The Huskers beat a ranked opponent for the first time under third-year coach Fred Hoiberg. He came in 0-23 against teams in the AP Top 25.
With its second road victory in three days, NU improved to 9-21 on the season and 3-16 in the conference.
