Huskers Are #5 Seed in NCAA Volleyball Tournament

The Nebraska volleyball club was selected as the number 5 overall seed for the NCAA Tournament last night.  NU will host the tourney’s first and second rounds at the Devaney Sports Center this Friday and Saturday.

The Huskers will meet Ball State on Friday at 7 p.m.  The pre-game starts a few minutes after 6 on News Talk 900 KJSK.

The winner will play in Saturday’s second round against the winner of Friday’s 4:30 p.m. match between Missouri and Northern Iowa. 

Nebraska swept Ohio State in three sets at home on Saturday night to finish the regular season at 25-4 overall and 17-3 in the Big Ten.
