Husker Potts Claims Eighth Weekly Freshman Honor

Natalie Potts of the Nebraska women’s basketball team is getting used to being recognized weekly by the Big Ten conference.
On Monday, Potts claimed her eighth Freshman of the Week award of the season. Potts closed out the regular season with 14 points, five rebounds and four assists in the Huskers’ one-point loss at Illinois on Sunday.
She won eight of the 15 weekly freshman honors, matching the total by NU’s most recent Big Ten Freshman of the Year Alexis Markowski in 2021-22.
