Husker Men’s Hoops Adds Post Player From Africa

The Nebraska men’s basketball team has added a post player from Africa to its roster for this season.
Matar Diop committed to the Huskers yesterday via social media. Diop is a 6-foot-9 player from Senegal who was developed by the NBA Academy Africa program. Last season he played for a high school in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Meanwhile, Nebraska will travel to Spain this Friday. The Huskers will visit Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona, playing once in each city against local teams.
