Husker Football Gets Two In-State Commitments
Norris senior James Carnie has become the third tight end in Nebraska’s 2021 recruiting class.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Titan joins Thomas Fidone of Council Bluffs Lewis Central and AJ Rollins of Creighton Prep. Carnie is ranked as a three-star prospect and is the number 57 tight end nationally, according to 247Sports.
And Ord kicker Kelen Meyer accepted a walk-on offer from Nebraska last night.
Meyer connected on a 58-yard field goal for the Chanticleers this season, the second-longest in state history.
