Husker Foelbaek Wins Nebraska Open at Elks C.C.

Nebraska senior Mark Foelbaek fired a five-under-par 67 in yesterday’s final round of the Nebraska Open to win the tournament at Elks Country Club.

Foelbaek, a native of Denmark, closed the 54-hole tourney at 12-under.  He jumped from third to first with his best round of the tournament on Sunday. 

Foelbaek finished one stroke ahead of professional golfers Rylee Reinertson and Ryan Vermeer, who tied for second.
