Howells Teen Referred To Court For Terroristic Threats At School

HOWELLS- On Friday a 13-year-old student in Howells was referred to juvenile court for making a school shooting threat on March 15.
The student is expected to appear in court this week. The Colfax County Sheriff’s Office in cooperation with the school and the FBI are continuing to investigate the incident.
Anyone with information relating to the investigation or any concern related to school safety is asked to contact the sheriff’s office or Nebraska Department of Education.
