Health Officials Say Phase 1B Could Take Up To Four Months

LINCOLN- State health officials continue to distribute the COVID vaccine throughout the state with 121,681 doses administered so far.

Incident Commander for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Angie Ling says most of the state is close to or already have advanced to phase 1B which includes residents 65 years and older and those with high risk medical conditions identified by the CDC…

Governor Pete Ricketts added that he doesn’t believe the state will see an increase in production of the vaccine in the near-term…

Ling says individuals who want the vaccine need to register with their local health district.
