Scott Frost says defensive end Khalil Davis will also face some internal punishment for punching an Ohio State player last Saturday. Following yesterday’s practice, Frost said Ben Stille will start tomorrow against Northwestern in place of Davis, who was suspended by the Big Ten for one game.

The Huskers and Wildcats have played a series of close games since NU joined the Big Ten. Northwestern has won in overtime each of the past two seasons. Frost expects tomorrow’s tilt to come down to turnovers.

“These guys don’t beat themselves very often, so we need to make sure we do the same,” Frost said. “They have a really good defense, so we just have to make sure that we’re trying to win the field position battle and a big part of that is not turning the ball over.”

Tomorrow’s kickoff is set for 3 p.m.  The pre-game show begins at 10 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 2:30 on KLIR 101.
