As part of the 100-year Anniversary Celebration of Memorial Stadium, Nebraska is opening the East Stadium entrance to fans tomorrow.
From 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, fans can have a professional picture taken under the original stadium rotunda and the “Through These Gates Pass the Greatest Fans in College Football” sign. Those photos will be taken free of charge.
Fans are asked to enter the stadium through Gate 20.
On October 20, 1923, Memorial Stadium was officially dedicated. Following the ceremonies, Nebraska and Kansas played to a scoreless tie.
