Tommie Frazier is among five student-athletes and one head coach selected for the Nebraska Athletics Hall of Fame.
The 2023 class, announced on Wednesday, includes the former quarterback who led the Huskers to back-to-back national championships in 1994 and 1995. Frazier posted a 33-3 record as Nebraska’s starting quarterback and was the runner-up for the 1995 Heisman Trophy.
He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2013.
Others in the state’s hall of fame 2023 class include Lori Endicott in volleyball, gymnast Emily Parsons, wrestler Tolly Thompson, Brittany Timko in soccer and retired track and field coach Gary Pepin.
