Columbus High’s football team pulled away for a 49-13 victory over Lincoln North Star in the Discoverers’ home opener last night.
Columbus quarterback Brody Mickey threw four touchdown passes, with Ernest Hausmann and Blake Thompson each catching a pair. The win improved CHS to 2-1.
On tap tonight, Lakeview entertains Wayne and Scotus plays host to Aquinas. The Shamrocks’ contest against the rival Monarchs will be broadcast on KLIR 101. Both teams come into the game with 2-0 records.
On KZ-100 tonight, Clarkson/Leigh visits East Butler. The Hawk Scoreboard Show starts at 10:30 tonight on 93.5 FM. The Pinnacle Bank Coaches show on KLIR tomorrow has a special start time: 11 a.m.
