Flyers Reach Girls Basketball D2 State Championship

Humphrey St. Francis has advanced to the Class D2 state championship in girls basketball. 

The top-seeded Flyers beat Mullen 65-59 in this morning’s semifinals.  St. Francis improved to 24-0. 

The Flyers will meet Falls City Sacred Heart in Saturday’s championship.  The Irish downed Wynot in today’s other D2 semifinal.    

Saturday’s title tilt is set for 3:45 p.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena and the play-by-play will be broadcast on 93.5 The Hawk.
