Five Chasers Called Up by KC, Eaton Homers in MLB Debut

Five Omaha Storm Chasers have been called up by Kansas City after the Royals had to place 10 players on the restricted list. 

Those players have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 so they aren’t able to play in KC’s four-game series at Toronto.  One of the five Chasers promoted, outfielder Nate Eaton, homered in his big league debut last night, helping the Royals win 3-1. 

Also promoted from Omaha yesterday were first baseman and top prospect Nick Pratto, outfielder Brewer Hicklen, second baseman Michael Massey and catcher Freddy Fermin.
