Five Bluejays Men Earn Big East Postseason Honors

Five members of the Creighton men’s basketball team received Big East postseason honors on Sunday.
Ryan Hawkins was named to the all-conference second team. Ryan Kalkbrenner earned honorable mention. And the Bluejays trio of Ryan Nembhard, Trey Alexander and Arthur Kaluma were selected to the league’s all-freshman team.
Creighton will take on Marquette in the Big East tournament quarterfinals on Thursday. Tipoff at Madison Square Garden is set for 1:30 p.m. Central. The game will be televised on FS1.
