Eddie Sutton Named to Basketball Hall of Fame
Former Creighton basketball coach Eddie Sutton is part of the 2020 class in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
The class, being hailed as one of the best of all-time also includes Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett among others.
Sutton got his start at the Division I level at Creighton in 1969. He was the Bluejays basketball coach and athletic director until 1974. His Bluejays teams went 82-50 and won two games in the 1974 NCAA Tournament.
Sutton went on to coach at Arkansas, Kentucky and Oklahoma State.
