Discoverers Baseball Rallies, Halts Skid at Waverly

Columbus High’s baseball team snapped a six-game losing streak last night.
Trailing 4-1 entering the sixth inning, the Discoverers scored four runs to rally for a 5-4 victory at Waverly. Jack Faust stroked a two-run double in the sixth. Wyatt Swanson went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run as CHS improved to 2-6 on the season.
Columbus visits Lincoln North Star on Saturday to play the host Navigators and Lincoln High.
