Discoverers Baseball Falls at Fremont

Columbus High fell at Fremont 7-1 in high school baseball action last night.
The Tigers scored three runs in the bottom of the first. The Discoverers tallied their lone run in the fifth, but Fremont responded with four runs in the bottom of the inning. Columbus pitchers only allowed four hits, but issued 10 walks.
CHS has lost three straight games to slip to 9-10.
The Discoverers will host Lincoln Southeast today. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m. at Pawnee Park Field.
