Creighton junior Ty-Shon Alexander has declared for the NBA draft.  But, the star guard still has the option to return to CU for his senior season after being evaluated by NBA executives.

At this point, the deadline for his decision is set for early June.

Alexander led the Bluejays and ranked third in the Big East with 16.9 points per game last season. He finished second in the league by hitting 86 percent of his free throws and ranked fourth by making better than 2.6 three-pointers a contest.  Alexander was named First Team All-Big East, First Team All-District and Third Team All-American by USA Today.

Two other Creighton guards – senior Davion Mintz and freshman Jalen Windham – who recently entered the transfer portal have both announced their landing spot.  Mintz said on social media he’ll play as a graduate transfer at Kentucky, while Windham is going to Ball State.
