CU Men’s Basketball Will Open Season vs. Utah

The Creighton men’s basketball team has been selected to begin its season by competing in the Crossover Classic.  The eight-team event will be held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota from November 25-27. 

The Bluejays will open their season in primetime on ESPN2 November 25th at 6pm Central against Utah.  It will be the first meeting between the two teams since 1941. 

Other first round games will pit West Virginia against Texas A&M, Ohio State vs. Memphis and Dayton against Wichita State. 

All 12 games at the new event will air on the ESPN family of networks.
