CU Extends Flanery’s Contract, Hires Men’s Assistant

Both Creighton basketball programs announced a contract extension for one coach and hired an assistant Monday. 

The Bluejays women’s basketball head coach Jim Flanery has signed an extension.  No terms were disclosed.  Flanery has been the Jays head coach for 22 years and has a record of 427-268. 

Also, Trey Zeigler will return to The Hilltop as a men’s basketball assistant coach next season.  He was a graduate manager with the Bluejays two years ago, before spending last season as an assistant coach at High Point in North Carolina.
