Cornerstone Rallies for Walk-Off Win in Ninth Inning at Fremont

Down to possibly their final inning this season, the Cornerstone Insurance Group Columbus Seniors rallied for a win in the A6 area tournament at Fremont. 

Cornerstone trailed Fremont 2-0 in the bottom of the seventh before rallying for two runs to send the game into extra innings.  Columbus walked-off with a 3-2 victory in the ninth when Connor Rausch drew a bases-loaded walk. 

Grant Zoucha had two hits and two RBI for Cornerstone, which improved to 2-1 in the tourney and 15-11 overall. 

Columbus will face Lincoln North Star today at 6 p.m. needing a win to advance to the area championship and secure a spot in the state tournament.
