Columbus Seniors Battle Burke Tomorrow in Legion State Tourney

The Cornerstone Insurance Group Columbus Seniors will take on Omaha Burke in tomorrow’s opening round of the Class A national division state tournament. 

First pitch is set for 10 a.m. at Duncan Field in Hastings. 

Cornerstone is 17-11 on the season, and went 4-1 to win the A6 area tourney title.  Burke Omaha Electric is 32-15-1 overall.  The Bulldogs were the runner-up in the A2 area tournament, after going 3-2 with both losses coming against tourney champ Millard West.
