Columbus Baseball Defeated by Elkhorn South

Columbus High’s baseball team was downed by Elkhorn South 8-1 Thursday at Pawnee Park. 

The Discoverers were held to one hit in the game.  The Storm broke a scoreless tie with four runs in the fifth inning.  After Columbus scored its lone run in the sixth, the visitors added another four-spot in the top of the seventh. 

The Discoverers fell to 6-16 on the season.
